Overnite!!

Bellows Beach

This little gem is what we found for an overnite adventure. The beautiful beach of white sand and turqoiuse water. The beauty of a place is called bellows. It is a military beach. during the week they close it to the public. On the weekends they open it up to the public. We have been there twice before but they were but on really windy and rainy days.

They have camp sites you can stay in, camper cabins, or cabins. It is hard to get a reservation for more then a night and on a weekend. Well david has two weeks off ya-hoo. (side note we are playing and playing and loving having daddy home) We were trying to think of fun things to do while he is off. We decided to call bellows and see what they had. So we went there thursday night. We had such a good time. we were right on the beach. It was a two bedroom cabin we stayed in. The kids had a blast. We had so much fun we are going back on monday for another overnite.

Our home away from Home.

When we first got there we played mini golf. We had the course to ourselves. The kids had fun. Dawsons way of golfing was picking up all the balls and dropping them in the hole. Landon really stuck with it longer then brooklyn did. He is 100% boy. He loves his sports.

Each unit comes with a picnic table and a grill out side. So david made a yummy dinner of grilled salmon, asparagus, twice baked potatoes, watermelon, and chips and salsa. It was so yummy and who could forget the s'mores. So we ate our hearts out. David took the kids looking for crabs at night while I put dawson down.

It was such a good time that we are going back on monday night. There is so much to do there. They also have tennis courts, a playground, tons of thing you can rent, a walking/biking trail, and so much more.

I highly recommend this for anyone that needs a little get away. We had such a good time and the kids loved it. It wa snice that since it was during the week there was hardly any one there. IT was a nice gem to find one we will come back to often.

THe kids would only let me take this if I said they could be sillly

How fun!! We camped there not too long ago (I say camped, but we stayed in the cabins too...that is about as much camping as I do!)

Your kids are darling!! I'm glad you had such a fun time.

That is our favorite beach! We went there camping just last week and that is where we are heading this weekend with the Eberly's. If you weren't going to be gone I would say come on over and hang out. Have a safe trip!
