Favorite things

The last few weeks we have been doing allot of hanging gout. The kids have switched off giving cold to each other. That is never fun. David has been working long hours down at pearl harbor so we have just been hanging out. The kids and I went down to the park the other day. They love the swings and all they wanted to do was swing. They could swing for hours and hours. Dawson just sits and laughs in the swing. It was fun to take them to the park and sit back and watch them play. It is funny how a small simple trip to the park brought them so much j0y. I seem to go and go and go doing things that when I take the time out for the small things it is so nice for the kids. I cant believe how big they are all getting. They have all hit growth spurts. They are such cuties. I love them more then anything. They are great. So the park has been there favorite thing lately and they have been my favorite think lately.

Yummy Yummy donuts!

I found this really good recipe for doughnuts. I have been reminiscing about fall lately. I love the fall time of year but when it is 85 degrees outside is kind of hard to sit down to a big bowl of soup and put your favorite sweatshirt on. So I thought it would be fun to make doughnuts. i found this really easy recipe online. It looked easy enough so on Sunday we tried it out. It was really so easy and they turned out so yummy. The kids had a great time making them and and even funner time eating them. I am going to start making it a tradition around this time of year to make doughnuts. They really were so good and easy. So the next person that comes to visit me will get fresh hot donuts. Move over Krispy Kreme just kidding those donut's are like gold. No one can top those.
Also if anyone can give me tips on how to post pictures so it is not all in one group. How do I move my pics around. Thanks

London 2012

The Olympics came and went but my rugrats have been working hard at the gym to prepare themselves for the 2012 games in London. They could easily pass as 16 for the gymnastics age.

Move over Shawn Johnson here comes Brooklyn. For Paul Ham these two cute boys are close on your tail..

With David having the last week off we went and did some fun stuff with the kids. The place that Brooklyn takes gymnastics has an open gym. The kids had a blast. It was so nice to have David off for the time he was. I am not sure when he has to leave again. I will enjoy it while he is here. He is back to work today so our days of playing has ended. Yeah right some one has to work around here so thank you david for working so hard for us.

Ballerina Birthday Brooklyn

I have been hearing so much lately about making tutus. I know brooklyn would love one so I asked my friend Angie to help me with this. Angie is great at sewing. I had asked her if I bought some tule if she would make it for me for her birthday. She said well I will just do it. Brooklyn loves the tutu. She is in love with it. Angie did such a good job. Thank you angie for the great gift. It turned out so good. Thank you so much

I do have to admit brooklyn makes a cute ballerina. I kove the picture with her on the phone. No doubt about it she is a true girl.

Happy Birthday Brooklyn

Happy happy birthday Brooklyn dear!!!

We know have a four year old at our house. How time flies.

This year i did a princess tea party. The friends came dressed as there favorite prince or princess. We had some very handsome princess's. We had a tea party, made a craft of crowns, we had a pinata, then we had a princess cake. I decided to decorate the princess skirt. It was fun to do and Brooklyn thought it was the coolest. That night we went to chuck e cheese's It was a great day. She had so much fun. It was so neat to see how excited she was all day. I cant believe that she is four. Thanks to all her friends for coming and helping us celebrate Brooklyn's birthday.

Happy birthday Brooklyn I hope you know how much I love you and hope this year of you being four is a great one for you. Me and your daddy love you so much. You are such a sweet girl. You are always making us laugh. You and Landon are inseperable. You are such a big help to your brothers. No one can get Dawson laughing like you can. You are always there to help mom. You are such a joy to be around. Always know that we love you so much.

Happy Birthday!!

Beach rides and a big surprise.

This weekend we got out for labor day. We went to the beach on Friday with some friends. It was a nice beach day the water was perfect and the sun was nice and hot. We went to Ko Olina. Landon is getting more comfortable in the water. It was fun to see Dawson explore things since he can crawl now. Brooklyn always has a good time at the beach. On Monday for labor day we went to the family fun fest. There is a neat family in our ward named the Kim's. They are just great. They put on a carnival every labor day. This is the last year that they are doing it.They have rides, jump houses and a ton of food. Each person gets a hot dog, Snow cone, cotton candy , and popcorn. On top of all this each ward has a potluck during the day. There is so much food and fun. Landon didn't care for the rides but Brooklyn loved them. I was to busy jumping in the jump houses with the kids to take pictures. We meet up with our friends and rode the train together. It was a good day.

The best surprise of all is that David is back. He came back on Tuesday. It was so nice. He had hinted that he would be here for Brooklyn's birthday. Then on Sunday night the call I have been waiting for for 6 weeks happened. David called. It was nice when he called the kids were all asleep so it was nice to just get to talk to him. I had my friend tonya watch the kids and I went and got him at the airport. I dropped him off then got the kids. They walked in the house and were so excited. Brooklyn was just talking a thousand miles a minute. Landon wouldn't let him go. He was really tired. He was taking a nap and the kids kept waking him up poor guy. He has the next 8 working days off that will be so so nice. We are going to get out and do some fun things.
