Red BULLSEYE!!!!

First target sighting
Yesterday had to be one of the greatest days ever. Finally after three years of wishing Target came to hawaii. Not just one but they opened up two. They have one nicely placed by the Navy exchange and the other one is in Kapolei.

So a group of eight of us to go to target with out kids and hubbys. We meet at the california pizza kitchen for dinner before the big event. That place always has yummy food. Our tummys were full and we were ready to shop. The parking was a zoo. They had people directing traffic. When we got there they were directing us to drive around again since the lots were full. So we went down a side street found a high school to park at and we were off to target.

As we were walking we realized that we had a walk ahead of us. So we saw a small fence. Our creative minds were going and we decided that if we climb the fence we will be in the parking lot sooner. So we all gave the old heave ho and went over the fence. even shirlyn who is 7 months pregnant. That is true dedication

Keep the eye on the prize Target steps away
Once we were all over the fence it was time to enter the great world of the best shopping ever. There were so many people there it was so nice to be in the store and enjoy it. They had great things as always. I did think that somethings were more expensive then I thought they were compared to the mainland prices. We shopped for about 2 hours or so. It was great. Well all good things must come to and end so it was time to proceed to the check out line and head home and think of the next trip to target. We all found good deals and had a great time and spent our fair share of money.

Could it get any better?

We walked out of target feeling very confident in our purchases and the night we had had. back to our creative minds of were we parked. When we got to the parking lot we found that my car and emilieans car were locked in the high school parking lot. Oh yeah that was smart on our part. So we got it all worked out. Thank you to all the people that helped go get the cars and I would like to say that my car was returned this morning. I was worried it wads going to get towed. Thanks for everyone that offered different ideas. I have to specially thank angie she was first to say that she would stay in the cars so they wouldn't get towed. Thanks angie for being willing to do that. Lauren thanks for the ride home and to emilien's friend that took everyone else home. Thank you. Thanks to audra shirlyn and who ever else helped get the cars this morning. I am glad to have my car back.
So it was a night that I felt like I was back in high school the fence jumping, the great shopping, having your car locked in the parking lot. I would gladly do it again for the fun times. Thanks girls for a great shopping and a great adventure. You are all great. Cant wait for our next adventure. BUNco!!

I am so happy to see that you have such wonderful shopping choices now. I wish it was there when I was. But here our target is only about 7 blocks from the house we just bought.

You know how you are always rubbing in the beautiful scenery, the perfect temperatures, and the pristine beaches of Hawaii?

Let me return the favor. When I decide to go to Target, I get to decide which of the many MULTITUDES of Target stores to go to, that are within 20 minutes of my home. Once I decide between my MANY choices, I then usually find a CLOSE, convenient spot to park, right at the front of the store. It is like I have a reserved spot calling out my name each time. I then casually walk (with PLENTY of space) by FEW other shoppers to pick my carefully selected merchandise (which may be slightly cheaper due to it being produced on the mainland-no extra shipping costs). There are not fights over cans of SPAM at my Targets either, maybe Jell-o, but NOT Spam. I then casually walk the 14 steps back to my car and drive away from the only 1/4 of the way, full parking lot.

After considering all of this, those beaches suddenly don't seem nearly as impressive to me as they once might have. :)

I love that you guys climbed a fence. I didn't know you could climb that high, but I guess you didn't want to be shown up by a pregnant girl! I am totally impressed!

It was worth it. Everyone I talk to has gotten a kick out of our story. Only desperate girls like us would get ourselves into such pickles, but well worth it. Shirlyn

When I hear you tell the story and time has passed and by bike and my hand has been fixed and healed it is quite a fun story.

I'm so glad you invited me. And I do think I'll he going back again.

This will be a great memory for Hawaii living. Especially the pregnant one hopping a fence.
