When ever we go to walmart I feel like I am walking into Hannah Montana factory. It is crazy. There are pictures of her every were. Then on the Disney channel all you hear about is Hannah Montana. Brooklyn is always talking about Hannah Montana. Well they showed a concert of hers on T.V Saturday night. It was in 3D. You could get the glasses at walmart. So I picked some up for me and her. I thought this is going to be so much fun. She will get to see who Hannah Montana is and she loves singing so it will be a fun time. Well she had a blast watching the show with the glasses on. She got into the singing. We had a great little concert together.

Bowling!!!
We went bowling for our mothers group last week. It was so much fun. The kids had a great time. Brooklyn loved it. She would pick the ball and sent it
down the alley every time. She had 3 strikes all by her self. She obviously did not get her skills from me. I think I have gotten 3 strikes my whole life. Landon had a good time running around and playing with the games on the side. He had a good few turns then he lost interest in it. It was a great morning and the kids had a great time.

Anchors Away!!
Well today was the day we said goodbye to David for 12 weeks.
The feelings that I have felt today have mostly been overwhelming. I feel like there is a huge mountain in front of me. I just have to start picking at it.
It has been a very emotional two weeks. The kids were sick with colds two weeks ago. Then David got sick with the cold. He has been under allot of stress getting ready for this trip. Trying to take care of everything for us while he is gone. Then on Monday he found out he was going to be gone about 3 months. He was suppose to be out 5 weeks then in for 3 then out for 5 weeks. So we were mentally planning for 5 weeks. So Monday came and we found out he would be gone for 12.
It was a nice morning spending the morning together. I am very blessed to be able to have David give me a blessing. It was so cute because Brooklyn wanted one. There was a nice feeling that came over the house as he was giving Brooklyn a blessing. I am very fortunate that I can call on David to do that. It was really hard for David to say goodbye to the kids and for me to watch David say good bye. I didn't know if Brooklyn would grasp much of what was going on but she about cried. Her and David have a certain bond. As we were driving away the kids looked so sad. They knew something was going on just not what. I told the kids we could go get there favorite thing in the world. Orange chicken from panda express. It has been a nice day to hang out with the kids. They have done well considering dads not here.
So I have no idea what is in store over the next few months. I know that we will face many things. I know the kids will go through hard times I will go through hard times. We will grow and learn things together.
I am so blessed with so many great friends. Thank you to everyone that called today to see how we were doing. Thank you to everyone that expressed we are in there thoughts and prayers. Last Sunday at church there were so many people that said hey if you need anything let us help. It was so nice and I appreciate all of it.
I already miss David tremendously. I am going to miss not having someone to talk to at night. Not having someone there to say good job at the end of the day. I will miss an extra set of hands. I will miss the singing so loudly around the house. I will miss him putting the garbage out( i don't like touching garbage cans). I will miss the snoring at night. I will miss the rock band being played. I will miss the Alfredo. I will miss watching our shows together. I will miss allot with David not here.
I hope my kids know how much I love them. How much the mean to me. This is new and scary for them as it is for me. I hope they know that i am going to give this all that I can give and then some. I hope they know that I am trying my best. I want to make this easy for them. I know they don't understand what is going on but they do something is different. They are such joys to have. They keep me on my toes. They keep me going and going. I wouldn't trade what I have for anything. I love them more then I can say. They mean so much to me. . I love them more then I could ever imagine loving something. I think they will help me through this more then I know they are so small and innocent.
I know David cant read this while he is away but I just want everyone to know how great David is. How much I love him. He means the world tome. He always takes such good care of me. He is the greatest thing that I have.
Alright I will stop with the mushy sappy stuff. Thanks to the great family that I have, David's family, my kids, and great friends.
We will plug along picking away at this one day at a time.

Family Night
Well we had a fun family night tonight grilled hamburgers over the grill. They were super yummy. David made them with swiss cheese and bacon. After dinner we all roasted marshmallows. The kids had a great time. It was fun to watch them roast them then eat them. All the kids were covered in marshmallows. Even Dawson got his hands on a marshmallows. It was a nice night to sit back and enjoy each other.

God Bless America
Another independence day gone by were I enjoy the holiday more and more. It is very different for me to celebrate the fourth of July since I have been in Hawaii. Our neighbor just back from Iraq, my neighbor across the street form us does weapons fixings in Iraq for his unit, we have friends that are getting set to deploy in a few months, and we have some friends who husbands/dads are in Iraq right now. It is hard not to feel a little more proud for the things that I do have. It is neat for me to get to hear all the good things that are going on over there and to see pictures of the people being so grateful for what our soldiers are doing.
We went to schofield barracks and enjoyed a great morning of rides, jump houses, slides, petting zoo and pony rides. The kids had a great time. They had some vendors up and some food booths up. Billy ray Cyrus was doing a concert there at night. We had a BBQ at our house with some friends. I am glad that a lotof our friends could come out. We had a good time and yummy food. So you cant complain there. After all that we went up to the airfield and watched fireworks and did sparklers. It was a great night.
Thank you to all the friends that are serving in Iraq on the seas and were ever else they might be. I am very grateful for all there sacrifices so that we can have the things that we have. What a great place we live in. God Bless America

Sleepovers fridays and saturdays
In our house we have rule that on Friday and Saturday's Brooklyn can sleep on Landon's bunk bed. Well every night she asks if she can sleep in Landon's room. Every night we tell her no except for Friday and Saturday. Well today she was asking if Landon could have a sleep over in her room. I said sure on friday or Saturday.
Well me and David had ordered dinner for the two of us from chili's. He has been working such long hours we decide to have an at home date we call it. So I went to get the food and when I came home this is what I found. The two of them looked to cute I couldn't move them. I thought it was so cute that Landon had moved his pillow in there and everything.
As I was checking on them I heard some noise coming from were Dawson sleeps. I had the camera in hand and it is a good thing I did. This is how I found him.
If the kids weren't so cute I would be pulling my hair out.
I love to see them asleep. It means another day down.

Weekend at the ZOO
Being in the military has its advantages like free day at the zoo.
It was so much fun. The zoo had military appreciation day there on Saturday. They had free admission, free lunch, and free games for the kids. The kids had a good time. Landon loved the turtles of all things. Brooklyn gets a kick out of the peacock's walking around.
The weather was so hot. I didn't realize how hot Waikiki can get. It was such a nice to day to just relax and let the kids have a great day. We were all exhausted after the zoo it was a night in with pizza and early bed time.
Dawson was great the whole time. He just rode along in the stroller hardly made a peep. I see this picture and I just want to squish his things. It puts a whole new meaning to thunder thighs.

We all just want to be Rockstars!
Well it is official we are a rock star family. David has purchased the rockband for the Wii. I wish I could sit back and say that it is not fun or it is another game that will drive me crazy. It is the funnest game. Brooklyn and landon sing david rocks the guitar and yours truly is on the drums. It is so much fun. So look for the family to be touring in an area by you.
