Hershey Park Pennsylvania & Philadelphia

Presidents weekend we decided to get out on a little over niter. We decided to go to Hershey Pennsylvania and Philadelphia the next day. It was the perfect weekend just what the family needed. It was only 1hour 45 minute drive to hershey chocolate world.
The kids helped out on the hershey kiss line, we rode the ride that told how they make that great hershey chocolate, we looked around the huge tasty gift shop, there were samples all over the place. We then went to the chocolate dessert and create studio. It was so fun. They had different dessert options you could choose from like pizza, smores, ice cream sandwiches, cupcakes, fondue. You picked a dessert then you picked two toppings to create/decorate your dessert with. We choose the fondue platter and the pizza. While we waited for our food they out frosting on the table so you could paint with it on the table. Seriously so so fun.
We stayed the night in hershey. We went swimming, had junk food, and just hung out in our pajamas and watched a movie.
The next day we headed 1 hour 30 minutes to philadelphia. We got a famous philly cheese steak. I think my arteries close every time just thinking of it. So yummy, greasy, heavy, and good. We then went over to the liberty bell. IT was really cool to see. IT was fun because brooklyn had learned about the liberty bell in school this year. So we got brooklyns version of the liberty bell. It was a really neat weekend. One that was just needed.

Your life seems way too amazing!! :)
I love all the experiences you are getting to have.
It is one of my dreams to have a "real" Philly cheesteak. Sounds so yummy and probably worth the narrowed arteries :)

I showed McKenzie these pics and now she is dying to go to Hershey world. You'd better bring her some chocolate when you come in town next week to make up for us missing the trip...that we weren't invited on! :)
